From the inception of the DIMENSIONAL RESEARCH department, and indeed from the moment I first stepped foot upon The Tree, it has been clear that we would soon require a fresh set of principles upon which to build our understanding. Very quickly our world became more complicated, our home’s stability less assured. Pragmatically, it is not worth questioning our world’s placement against those other extraplanar entities known to us. If our world lacks some level of primacy in a great cosmological ranking it becomes our duty to raise its stature through our work. Thus, we have laid out the following axioms to be followed as truth.

1. REAL
   Our world is real.
2. DURABLE
   Our world shall endure.
3. ACCOMPANIED
   Our world is in the company of other worlds.
4. TRUSTED
   Our world is the only world we can trust.

Topological study of the relationship(s) between our world and others are welcome, and indeed part of our mandate. Navigation of The Tree, especially the effort to find more efficient and safe routes, requires asking difficult and in depth questions, but allowing this questioning to stray towards indulgent theological questions is a dereliction of your duty.

Project LOOKING GLASS¹ has raised new questions here. The Shroud’s creations of unreality, especially when traversed via █████████████████ call axiom 1 into doubt for some. While the exact details are not broadly disclosable, I can assure you that these pieces of mimicry are exactly that: extremely detailed facsimile. ██████████ are working on studies here.
