At ███████ all active communication links to Sunda Trench facilities terminated. Initial attempts to re-establish comms failed. 7 hours 20 minutes and 9 seconds afterwards an automated distress signal from Galathem Deep began. 31 minutes later a similar signal from Canticle Deep began. ████ Deep has remained dark.

Cause for this incident is yet to be established. Perimeter listening stations have detected minor seismic activity within the region, but consulted staff offer mixed opinions on the significance.

Submersible Antares launched from FAC-211 with a small detachment lead by AUTUMN with additional OPS staff. Galathem’s small crew and the volatile nature of ██████ lead to this primarily military response.
